Vivo is working on two new smartphones Vivo Y20 and Vivo Y20i

 The news came that Vivo is working on two new smartphones Vivo Y20 and Vivo Y20i under its Y and they can be launched in the market soon. Both these smartphones can be given almost identical specifications. In these, users can only see little difference in RAM and charging capacity. At the same time, Vivo Y20 and Vivo Y20i have been spotted on the certification site of Indonesia and the Geekbench website. However, the company has not yet made any official announcement regarding the Vivo Y20 series.

The listing on Geekbench has been revealed in tipster Mukul Sharma via his Twitter. According to the information revealed, Vivo Y20 and Vivo Y20i smartphones will be offered on Android 10 OS with Funtouch OS 10.5. A 6.51 inch Halo full-view display can be given in these. Both these smartphones will be equipped with Snapdragon 460 processor. The Vivo Y20 can be launched in the market with 4GB of RAM, while the Vivo Y20i will have 3GB of RAM.

Talking about other features, the triple rear camera setup will be given in Vivo Y20 and Vivo Y20i. Among these, 13MP primary sensor, 2MP macro sensor, and 2MP portrait camera will be available. While an 8MP front camera can be given for video calling and selfie. According to Leaks, these smartphones will have a 5,000mAh battery available for power backup. But the battery used in Vivo Y20 will come with 18W fast charging support. While Vivo Y20i will get simple charging support. Side-mounted fingerprint scanners can be given for both smartphone privacy.

From the image of alleged marketing material shared on Twitter by well-known tipster Mukul Sharma, it can be seen that Vivo Y20 and Vivo Y20i will run on Android 10 based Funtouch OS 10.5. The phone features a 6.51-inch halo that FullView displays. The processor, as mentioned earlier, is listed as the Snapdragon 460 and while the Vivo Y20 specifications have 4GB of RAM, the Vivo Y20i is listed with 3GB of RAM.

In terms of optics, the two phones come with a triple rear camera setup that will include a 13-megapixel primary shooter, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel portrait camera. On the front, the phone is rumored to come with an 8-megapixel shooter that is placed in a notch.

The Vivo Y20 and Vivo Y20i are expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery. Both phones have different charging speeds with the Vivo Y20 supporting 18W fast charging and the Vivo Y20 supporting "normal charging". Both phones are said to come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Finally, while the Vivo Y20 is listed with Obsidian Black and Dawn White color options, the Vivo Y20i replaced the Obsidian Black with Nebula Blue and retained the Dawn White option.

Vivo is yet to confirm these specifications, so take them with a pinch of salt. Also, there is no mention of a release date or price for the two phones.
